Bharatpur, Chitwan, June 22, 2026 – The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has officially begun its first national convention in Bharatpur, Chitwan, marking a significant milestone in the party’s political journey. The three-day convention is being held from June 21 to 23 and is expected to bring together around 2,500 delegates and party representatives from across the country.

The opening ceremony is taking place at the Guest House Ground in Bharatpur, while closed-door sessions are being conducted at the Industrial Exhibition Centre. The venue was shifted from Ratnanagar to Bharatpur due to concerns over weather conditions and logistical arrangements.
